apibrėžtis Dokumentas, kuriame teikiami valstybės pripažintų profesijų reikalaujamų kvalifikacijų įgijimo profesinio mokymo sistemoje svarbiausi parametrai: išsamus profesijos aprašas (profesijos tikslas, veiklos sritys, reikalinga kompetencija); trumpiausia ir ilgiausia (atsižvelgiant į mokymo apimtį ir mokymo lygmenį) mokymo programos trukmė; atrankos kriterijai (reikalaujamas išsilavinimas, praktinio darbo patirtis ir kt.); mokymo arba studijų tikslai (dažniausiai vidutinio lygmens); vertinimo kriterijai; baigiamojo kvalifikacinio vertinimo (teorinių mokėjimų ir praktinių įgūdžių vertinimo ir kvalifikacijos pripažinimo) pobūdis ir vykdymo tvarka. Jų pagrindu kuriamos profesinio mokymo įstaigų (profesinių mokyklų, profesinio rengimo centrų, kolegijų) mokymo programos.
